About this space
Location Location. If you like beaches and a quiet property this is the best location in Ucluelet. 1 bedroom cabin on 4 acre property about a 3 minute walk to the south entrance of the beautiful Florencia Bay Trail.
Come relax in our west coast live edge cedar sided cabin and take in the odors of cedar, pine while sleeping in very comfortable beds.
This cabin is perfect for a bbq and cocktails on our large covered deck for connecting with a friend or romantic partner.
The space
Live edge window sills, cedar siding and pine walls. Catch the west coast flavor in the place you relax after exploring, surfing or kayaking.
King Bed. Large deck with cedar chairs and BBQ. Everything is brand new as of June 2020. Appliances and furniture are top quality. Henkel knives, stainless appliances. The shower walls are from slate. The decks are made from western red cedar.
Full kitchen, deck with BBQ, quiet and 20 mins walk to spectacular and quiet south Florencia Beach to escape the crowds or 5 min walk to Ucluelet Inlet.
Plants for you use cuisine include mint, thyme and rosemary.
Guest access
There is a driveway through the property ending up at Willowbrae where you can cross the highway and soon be on the Willowbrae trail to Halfmoon Beach and Florencia Bay.
Other things to note
This cabin is on a property which is closest to the start of the Florencia Bay trail for the south end of Florencia Bay, what some consider the prettiest beach on the west coast. This remote beach with very limited parking for the trail often has no one in sight and can be a romantic place to go in seclusion.
We take great pride in offering our guests safe and clean accommodation for their trips to the Pacific Rim .
Cleanliness is our priority and all surfaces get cleaned between stays. We have pillow covers, mattress covers and our duvet covers are washed with every stay (not all properties do this).
We want you to enjoy your stay and we are glad to respond to any request for kitchen items or anything you need if at all possible.

Where you’ll be
Ucluelet, British Columbia, Canada
Close to the south entrance of the Florencia Bay Trail. You can often be the only ones in sight on the south part of this large sandy beach popular among surfers (at the north end). Florencia Bay holds a special place in the hearts of many fisherman and you will often see boats fishing the bay during July and August. It is also a popular surfing spot for people in Ucluelet.
This cabin is on a 4 acre property with large house and 4 cabins.
This is the second time I’ve stayed at Sam’s place. It’s a great spot with opportunity to bring larger groups as he has many cabins! I’ll be staying here every time I come to visit Ucluelet in the future.
I know this is more of a gripe with Airbnb than with Sam, but why do they have a cleaning fee if the required check out procedure involves cleaning the entire cabin and taking out the garbage?
Cabin was very clean and spacious. We had more than enough room for the two of us. We really enjoyed our stay.
The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is convenient to the town of Ucluelet and to Pacific Rim National Park.

Sam has run Salmon Eye Charters since 2004 and Vancouver Island Vacation Rentals since 2012 from Ucluelet and will work hard to make sure you have a great stay.
